An Electric Bicycle, or an E-Bike, is a bicycle with an integrated electric motor. Electric Bicycles uses electricity to propel the vehicle forward, but retains the ability to be pedaled by the rider, which separates them from electric motorcycles. Most E-Bikes have a mechanism that can control how much the motor plays a part in the vehicle operation. Panasonic provides controllers suitable for Electric Bicycles such as Motor Drive Controllers, Battery Control Devices and LEDs.
