Manipulators

The ability to exactly pick, place and arrange in accurate and repeatable movements, makes robotic arms or manipulators an excellent fit for manufacturing, material handling and logistics, medical surgery, food handling, and military and government uses. Mobile robot manipulators require vision guidance and excellent motion control, in addition to rugged design and reliable, long life and fast charging battery solutions. AGV/AGC

Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and Automated Guided Carts (AGC) are transforming material handling and logistics in warehouses, distribution centers and other large facilities, by tugging, towing and transport of loose material. With obstacle avoidance and safety features, and programming to enable communication with other robots, these autonomous mobile robots streamline operations and ensure product is moved smoothly through a facility. Long operation times between battery charges and fast battery charging times, boost operational efficiencies.  Most automatic guided vehicles can estimate their own location and guide themselves using an electronic map, instead of guide wires, allowing it to adapt quickly and flexibly to layout changes.

Telepresence

Mobile telepresence robots at school or work enable a streaming video (and audio) appearance, from anywhere in the world.  Navigation, camera and wireless solutions are required for mobility and communication.  The mobile base of a telepresence robot must be able to coordinate tight corners, remain upright and maintain power for extended periods of time.  Clear, crisp video and audio enhances the experience for both sides of the link, enriching the personal connection.
