High Response Frequency

The GX-300 boasts a high frequency response of 5 kHz and responds quickly to sensor ON/OFF judgment, making it suitable for high-speed applications and reducing equipment cycle time.

Perfect for IoT Applications

The IO-Link compatible GX-300 models are capable of transmitting detection level, sensor status, and operation mode information to a host controller through an IO-Link master.  They can also be used as standard PNP output type sensors.

The long sensing range models provide reliable detection at a greater distance than conventional proximity sensors, minimizing the risk of collision or sensing error due to vibration.

Response frequency of 5 kHz for high-speed application

  • The GX-303S boasts a high-speed response frequency of 5 kHz.
  • The response frequency of other sensor models has been also improved by up to 4 times as compared to our conventional models.

Since the GX-300 series responds quickly to sensor ON/OFF judgment, it works well with a high-speed application and contributes to the reduction of equipment cycle time.

Sensing over long distance
The M8 / M12 / M18 / M30 threaded type sensors are available in standard sensing range type or long sensing range type ("K" at the end of model No.).
The long sensing range means reliable detection with plenty of performance margin to spare.

Minimum risk of collision or sensing error even if the distance to the sensing object changes due to equipment vibration

  • Equipment vibration or time-related degradation may inadvertently alter the sensing distance and cause a sensing error. This error, in some cases, may indicate a sensing failure.
  • When setting up the sensor close to the sensing object, the sensor may become damaged if it comes in contact with the sensing object.
  • The long-sensing range models facilitate the sensor setup for reliable sensing since they detect the object at long distances
