Amplifier Built-in / U-shaped Micro Photoelectric Sensor [Compact / Connector built-in type] PM-65

The Panasonic PM-65 Sensor has a beam emitting / receiving distance of 6 mm. The beam emitting and receiving areas are 0.5 mm thinner compared to conventional models even though the external dimensions have not changed. As a result, the distance between the beam-emitting and the beam-receiving points have increased by 1 mm thereby reducing the possibility of sensing objects colliding.

There are marks on the front and back of the Sensor to indicate the upper and lower limit of the beam axis. This makes it easy to adjust the position of the sensing object. Also, a large indicator light (orange) illuminates when an object enters the beam axis and can be visible from any angle above or from the sides.

Stress points in the PM-65 Sensor, such as where the cable and internal circuit meets, are re-enforced with resin to prevent malfunctions cause by vibrations or impacts. All models are designed with the following protection circuits in their compact shapes. These protection circuits minimize the possibility of Sensor malfunctions or damage caused by incorrect wiring.
