Software Control Declaration
The company requesting the regulatory configuration binaries (“Host Product Manufacturer”) declares to acknowledge and accept the following Panasonic terms.
Terminology
“Modular Transmitter” hereafter refers to any of the PIDEU radio modules containing a modular transmitter with the FCC ID: T7V9019 and IC: 216Q-9019.
“Host product” hereafter refers to any product by the Host Product Manufacturer where the Modular Transmitter is integrated.
Definition of parties and their responsibilities
PIDEU is the Modular Transmitter manufacturer and grantee of the applicable regulatory approvals for the Modular Transmitter. PIDEU tests and calibrates the Modular Transmitter before shipment. PIDEU provides the regulatory configuration binary after this declaration has been signed.
The Host Product Manufacturer is the company responsible for integration the Modular Transmitter into the host product and, by this declaration, is subject to the terms of use and restrictions of the Modular Transmitter as provided hereunder.
Declaration of commitment
The Host Product Manufacturer agrees to ensure that all host products referring to the FCC ID or IC certification number of the Modular Transmitter placed on the market by the Host Product Manufacturer follow the rules and configuration according to the radio module Integration Guide and Product Specification provided on:

The respective latest edition is applicable.
Indemnification
The Host Product Manufacturer shall indemnify Panasonic, and its affiliated companies, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Indemnitees”) and shall defend and hold all and each of the Indemnitees harmless from and against all claims, demands, suits, actions, liabilities, judgments, losses, damages, injuries or costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs of litigation) arising from or in connection with a breach of the requirements under this Software Control Declaration. "Affiliated companies" means any corporation or other legal entity that controls, is controlled by or under common control with Panasonic Holdings Corporation.
Confidentiality
Any provided files in the context of this declaration (e.g. ‘REGD Binary Package.zip’ and its contents) shall not be distributed, disclosed, or disseminated in any way or form by the Host Product Manufacturer to anyone and shall be treated by the Host Product Manufacturer with the same degree of care to avoid unauthorized disclosure to any third party as with respect to the Host Product Manufacturer’s own confidential information of like importance but with no less than reasonable care.
Governing law
This Software Control Declaration will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany. The Host Product Manufacturer agrees that any action related to this Software Control Declaration will be brought to the Court of Lueneburg, Germany.
