The EEH-ZS Series Surface Mount Conductive Polymer Hybrid Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are capable of operating at high temperatures with conductive Polymer Capacitor performance and Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor safety in a Surface Mount package.

The EEH-ZS Series Hybrid Capacitors at 125°C, 4000 hours can withstand a higher ripple current and large capacitance. Being AEC-Q200 qualified ensures optimal quality and reliability. These parts are ideal where high temperature and high current capability are being demanded by an application. These Hybrid Capacitors also offer Vibration-Proof variants for parts with 8mm diameter or greater.

AEC-Q200 Selection Guide
An AEC-Q200 Compliant Series

Panasonic components specified as AEC-Q200 Compliant are consistently designed into automotive systems.  However, today’s Design Engineers are specifying AEC-Q200 components to meet the high-quality standards of devices beyond automotive applications.

Parts that pass the AEC tests are qualified, high-quality components that can be used in critical environments.  Therefore, there should be no need to conduct other component level tests saving both time and expense.

Current AEC-Q200 Standard documents developed by the AEC Component Technical Committee are available on the AEC website. The AEC is an organization based in the U.S. that sets qualification standards for the supply of components in the automotive electronics industry.

WHICH PART IS SUITABLE FOR YOU?

For larger capacitance needs, Panasonic also manufactures EEH-ZS(U) Series Conductive Polymer Hybrid Aluminum Capacitors. The EEH-ZS Series has a 4000-hour life at 125°C. The series also offers Vibration-Proof variants for parts with 6mm diameter or greater, withstanding shock of as much as 30G. 
The EEH-ZS(U) Series features a significantly higher Nominal Capacitance Range:
•    G12 Size Code: 120 µF to 680 µF
•    G16 Size Code: 180 µF to 1000 µF
