Panasonic's CQ Series is a silent Automotive Relay with a sound pressure reduced by approximately 20dB from similar relays of its class. Using a small size form factor of 17.0mm length x 13.0mm width x 16.6mm height with a standard pitch for compact relays with PCB through-hole terminals allows for space-saving in the design.
The CQ Series Relay has an SPDT (1FormC) contact arrangement and uses a 12VDC coil with a maximum pick-up voltage of 7.2VDC and 640mW nominal operating power. With a nominal resistive load switching of 20A @ 14VDC, this relay can also carry 30A for up to 2 minutes or 20A for 1 hour continuously at 85 Degrees Celsius. The CQ Relay also has a special option designed to handle wiper motor loads available.
