EC-N Series Relays

Panasonic's EC-N Series Relay is a sealed Automotive Relay with an easy-connect plug-in terminal. This SPST (1FormA) contact arrangement Relay is capable of switching 15A at 400VDC and continuous current of 5A indefinitely, 10A continuous current for 5 minutes, and 20A continuous current for 1 minute. Through the efficient use and placement of electrical arc spacing and extinction, the EC-N Series Relay has enabled an extreme form-factor reduction of 50% in size compared to our previous generation EC relay. The small size and high switching power make this Relay ideal for a pre-charge circuit used in HEV, PHEV, BEV, and FCV vehicles.
