PAN9019/9019A Evaluation Kits
The PAN9019/PAN9019A Series modules are available in the M.2 form factor for evaluation in conjunction with host processor evaluation kits with an M.2 Key E socket. The PAN9019/PAN9019A Series requires a powerful host processor that can execute low-level WiFi and Bluetooth Drivers, as well as host high-level WiFi application software and the Bluetooth Stack.
The highly recommended evaluation platform is the NXP® i.MX 93 Evaluation Kit, a powerful tool based on the i.MX 93 application processor with two Arm® Cortex®-A55 cores and a Cortex-M33 core. It boasts a 2 GB LPDDR4 RAM, a 16 GB eMMC, two Gigabit Ethernet ports and two USB 2.0 ports. It also supports SDIO 3.0, a crucial feature for the operation of the PAN9019.
For the i.MX 93 Evaluation Kit, a Linux® Board Support Package (BSP), is available from NXP. The Linux BSP provides everything needed to build a Linux-based image for the i.MX 93 Evaluation Kit using the Yocto Project®.
