Panasonic's CT Series Relay is a super miniature Automotive Relays with SPDT (1FormC) and twin type (1FormC x 2) available. The twin-type contact arrangement is a single relay that can control forward and reverse directions of a DC motor using an H-bridge circuit. The CT Relay has a simple PCB through-hole footprint with coil terminals on one side and contact terminals on the other side to enable an easier PCB layout.
This relay has an SPDT (1FormC) contact arrangement and uses a 12VDC coil with a maximum pick-up voltage of 7.2VDC and 800mW nominal operating power. With a nominal resistive load switching of 20A @ 14VDC (10A @ 14VDC for normally closed contact), this relay can also carry 30A for up to 2 minutes or 20A for 1 hour continuously at 85 Degrees Celsius.
