Panasonic's Grid-EYE® Series High-Performance Type is an 8x8 (64) pixel Infrared Array Sensor. This Sensor offers digital output (I2C) for thermal presence, direction, and temperature values. The built-in lens includes a 60-degree viewing angle. The Grid-EYE Sensor features compact SMD design using MEMS thermopile technology. This Sensor offers several advancements over the original Grid-EYE, including higher accuracy, enhanced resolution, and longer detection distance for true next-generation performance.
Features:
Panasonic's Grid-EYE® Infrared Array Sensor can detect temperature distribution in a two-dimensional area without contact in retail stores, shopping malls, offices, and many other human detection applications. The Grid-EYE® Sensor works in tandem with software to identify the number and position of people based on their body temperature, outputting a thermal data image and recognizes where appropriate distancing or density is or isn't maintained.
Panasonic Time of Flight (ToF) Cameras are compact, real-time, sensing cameras based on the ToF principle. Available in indoor and outdoor models, these cameras instantly detect distance between the camera and the targeted object with depth, infrared, and color (RGB) images. The GC1 indoor model produces RGB (640x480), depth map (320x240) (640x480) images. As well, engineers no longer need separate cameras for the depth, IR, and color images with 14/16/36 bit data formats. The HC4W outdoor model has a wide 90° FOV and is used in various applications such as security, autonomous vehicles and robotics.
