Panasonic’s Latest IP67 EVP-AW Series Top Push Tactile Switch with 3.0N Force

Panasonic announces the new EVP-6AWD40 part as an extension of the existing EVP-AW Series (3.0mm x 2.0mm, SMD, Top Push) Tactile Switches. The EVP-6AWD40 is an IP67 Switch and is resistant to water and dust while maintaining a superior tactile feel using Panasonic’s patented laser welding process rather than a glue adhesive. The EVP-6AWD40 adds a 3.0 Newton operating force option.

The EVP-6AWD40 is excellent for portable electronics applications such as wearable devices and other industrial, medical, and automotive devices. The EVP-6AWD40 is a Top Push Switch with a high operating life of up to 300,000 cycles. This Top Operational Switch has the ideal click feeling with its short travel of 0.13mm, which is suitable for portable electronic equipment.
