Panasonic, a worldwide leader in Relay Products, introduces the NEW AQY217GS Series High Capacity PhotoMOS Relays product line. The NEW AQY217GS Series PhotoMOS Relays are available in an SOP 4-pin Surface Mount package which is capable of handling up to 400mA at 200V in a small size package and maintains a low On-Resistance of 1.8 Ohms.
The latest addition to the Panasonic PhotoMOS Relay family, the NEW AQY217GS Series PhotoMOS Relays feature significantly high switching capability when considering the small package size. These parts can handle both AC and DC loads.
The NEW AQY217GS Series Relays feature a low On-resistance value (typically in the range of 1.8 Ohms). This helps for lower heat dissipation and faster turn on activation speed.
PhotoMOS Relays can sometimes be used in applications where traditional Electromechanical Relays are already being used. Replacing a standard Electromechanical Relay with PhotoMOS can provide additional benefits such as longer life cycle, better resistance to shock and vibration, low On-resistance and a theoretically infinite life cycle.
