Bluetooth Mesh

Bluetooth® Mesh, or flood mesh networking, offers low power consumption based on Bluetooth Low Energy. It allows end nodes and relay nodes to pass envelopes of information through a network without knowing which nodes are present in the network. Any node which receives a message then forwards that message to a counter which keeps track of the number of times an envelope has been viewed until it reaches zero. This keeps the message from continuously passing through the network. The Bluetooth Mesh standard requires less computing power and saves on battery usage while passing information from one node to another.
